Our first time here, we came to celebrate our son's birthday and we had an amazing experience. The food was great, the waitress was very polite and Sri the owner (I apologize if I misspelled his name) was super friendly and always making sure we were ok. Sri was so nice to us that after we had finished eating, he brought a small ice cream sandwich to my son and they played a happy bday song. We really enjoyed the evening at Priya's and we'll definitely go back for our next special occasion! 👍🏻

A warm welcoming restaurant, dishes are prepared fresh to order (so be patient if the restaurant is busy) and arrive piping hot to the table by attentive wait staff. A patron since the first day Priya’s Kitchen opened, the cuisine’s high quality has remained consistant. Because each order is custom-prepared, you can order your preferred degree of "spicy." Suggested favorite plates include the Mango Lassi, a refreshing yogurt to sip with the meal; it neutralizes the spices. For a starter, Veggie Samosa lightly fried in a pastry wrap is served with two sauces on the side. For bread, the thin Butter Naan is my favorite. Favorite entrees include Chicken Tikka Marsala, Vegetable Dum Ki Biriyani (an amazing rice dish with a variety of large pieces of fresh veggies). If you like fish, a high recommendation for the delicious, moist Mahi Mahi Fish Tikka; there are six ample sized chunks of fish, enough for 3-4 adults to share. If you like spinach, order the Palak Paneer. Priya’s Kitchen is an enjoyable place to dine for lunch and dinner. And, no worries of being rush by staff. High recommendations for Priya’s in Orland Park. Lots of free parking in front of the restaurant, located in an outside strip mall.

This place is amazing! The owner personally welcomed us and tailored menu suggestions based on our preferences. The food came out and we were blown away. The dosa was perfectly crisp on one side and soft on the other, the chicken and lamb dishes we ordered had a depth of flavor in their sauces that I’ve honestly not experienced in the Midwest, and the lentil soup was second to none. Highly recommend this gem.
